Healthy fats: a building block for hormones and immunity

I always prefer to eat good food rather than take supplements!

Totally in love with this clean mackerel and horseradish spread based on a Tomasina Miers’ recipe.

  • Benefits of Omega 3: lubricate the joints, they are the building block for hormones, reduce inflammation and relax artery walls

  • Benefits of horseradish: improves blood circulation, decongests the sinuses, supports immunity and warms the body

  • Benefits of parsley: a natural diuretic that can reduce bloating and blood pressure

  • Benefits of lemon: alkalises the body, clears the kidneys and the liver

Mix 1 whole smoked mackerel with 4 tbsp. of oat cream,

2 tbsp. of parsley, 2 spring onions finely cut,

½ a lemon juice, 1 tsp. of apple cider vinegar

and 2 to 3 tbsp. of fresh grated horseradish.

You can eat it with a salad or on the bread of your choice.
